All the time you hear the word "look". But what is it "look"? Why do we hear this word so often in modeling?
Unfortunately, many models understand this word very primitively. And not only models. They think that a "look" is just your exterior. But the "look" is your exterior and interior together!
Your look consists of many looks - expressions. And like the colors they have thousand different nuances. So are feelings - many, many nuances. And they are unique because belongs only to you: your feelings, your expressions, your nuances. Do not believe to statements that if you do not have an interesting look already you can not create it. You can! I proved it many times.
Very usual mistake when a model trying to express some feeling without using the whole instrument. When you don't think how to pose you move very naturally, according your emotions. But when you begin to pose, everything begin to work separately.
The first thing in modeling what you should do, is to put yourself together. What does it mean? It means that the whole you, your professional instrument must work together to achieve a goal.It is not possible to express any emotion any feeling using only face what many models trying to do and don't understand why they couldn't.
And if they work according to emotions your poses will be absolutely natural and unique.

Please read carefully. It will be very helpful for you.
Any expression and each pose begins inside of you, in your legs, and in your hands.
Is it sound strange? OK. Try to express anger and keep your hands and legs soft. It's impossible. If your legs and hand are soft - you are soft as well. But if you legs and hands are strained - you will see that now you can easily express an anger. Everything - whole instrument start working.
Or keep your legs strained and try to look romantic. You can not!
So remember this golden rule: Any pose starting inside of you - your legs, hands - the whole instrument!

Use camcorder and practice with different clothing. Don't be afraid you don't need to buy it. Just try to pretend that you are wearing some particular outfit. And please understand, that outfits it's not only clothing, but also footwear, accessories, hair. All your expressions and poses always must be in harmony with outfit or product.
Pretend what ever you can. Pretend that you are a business person or vamp, very romantic or just funny, very sexual or absolutely cold. Or you are a beautiful princess staying not in front of a camera but in front of a big crowd.

Look in the mirror and talk to yourself. About everything! And learn your expressions of all million feelings you can find between love and hate.
Learn your face, learn your body, your hands - whole instrument.
Try to find your best smile, best angles, best turns of your neck.
Learn your best make-up. Create your uniqueness!

Your heart and your soul can produce a lot of different emotions and your modeling instrument can transform them in many great natural expressions and poses. And each of them will be natural and alive. Do not worry if you practice very hard and do not feel any positive changes.
Don't give up! It is always working like that: you practice and still can not do anything, practice very hard and still cannot. You continue to practice and suddenly you feel: I CAN! I CAN! Everything works together. It is so great feeling and nobody can take it from you.
